Booking Terms and Conditions Ref 2007/1
These conditions supersede all other terms and conditions
1. BOOKING A cruise is booked only when a Booking Form is completed and signed, and the deposit has been received. The contract will then exist between the person signing the booking form (The Hirer) and Cotswold River Cruises. Provisional bookings will be held for 7 days, after which time Cotswold River Cruises reserve the right to offer the date to other applicants without further reference.
2. BALANCE OF FEE The balance of the fee must be paid 7 days in advance if paying by cheque, If agreed in advance payment may be made on the day of the cruise by cash or credit card. The minimum charge for any cruise will be for the minimum number specified in the booking form. Final numbers must advised by 5pm the day before the cruise.
3. CREDIT CARDS A 3% charge will be made all for Credit Card payments.
4. CANCELLATION If a cruise is cancelled up to 21 days before the cruise date, The Hirer will lose the booking deposit. If a cruise is cancelled with less than 21 days notice The Hirer will be responsible for the full balance of the fee. This fee will be calculated from the minimum number of people accepted on the booking . Any notice of cancellation must be in writing
5. AVAILABILITY Cotswold River Cruises reserve the right to cancel a cruise, if circumstances beyond their control make it necessary. In such circumstances, if a suitable alternative cannot be provided all monies paid will be refunded, and there will be no further claim against Cotswold River Cruises.
6. MINORS Bookings can only be accepted by those over 18.
7. FOOD All meals must be booked in advance. Self catering (food or drink) is not permitted.
8 SAFETY The instructions of the captain and crew must be obeyed at all times. Passengers are only permitted in areas of the vessel designated for the purpose of passenger transport. Unruly behaviour likely to constitute a safety hazard will terminate the cruise wherever the vessel is located. Passengers may then be asked to leave the vessel and Cotswold Cruises will have no further responsibility to return such passengers to the embarkation point & there will be no refund of monies paid
9. TIME OF ARRIVAL If the departure of the boat is delayed by the late arrival of any of the Hirer’s party, cruising time may have to be reduced
10. DURATION OF CRUISE Every effort will be made to conform to the stated duration of the cruise. No liability can be accepted for variations in the duration of a cruise.
11. PERSONAL PROPERTY/INJURY Cotswold River Cruises can accept no responsibility for loss or damage of personal effects or for personal injury.
12. DAMAGE TO CRAFT OR FITTINGS The Hirer will be held responsible and charged for any damage caused by members of his/her party, to the boat, its fittings or to third parties.
13. CHILDREN Unaccompanied minors are not permitted as passengers. The safety of children is the responsibility of the accompanying adult.
14. SMOKING Smoking is not permitted in any enclosed part of Adventuress.
15. PASSENGER NUMBERS. Adventuress is licensed for a maximum of 68 passengers (or 70 minus number of crew). The maximum passenger and crew weight is 5250kg. Adventuress is not permitted to sail if any of these limits is exceeded.
16. EXCLUSIVITY– PRIVATE CHARTER HIRE
For all cruises with buffet meals and Party Cruises we offer an exclusive hire of Adventuress .
For Group Outings & Tours – we reserve the option to fill any remaining capacity if the group hire is less than 40 in number.
For 40 to 56 the hire will be exclusive to the group hirer.
