From April 2008 Cotswold River Cruises is being operated by First Estates Management Ltd

 Adventuress has been operating at Lechlade on Thames since 2002 and 

from 1989 to 2001 Adventuress operated on the River Stort at Sawbridgeworth 

and the River Lee at the Lee Valley Park at Broxbourne.

Our passenger boat Adventuress was built in 1974 to operate from Hallingbury Mill near Bishops Stortford.

Adventuress was re-fitted and lengthened to operate on the River Thames.

Adventuress is regulated and inspected by the Maritime and Coastguard Agency and licensed to carry a maximum of 68 passengers. Our crew are trained to standards approved by the MCGA.

The vessel is also licensed to sell alcohol and inspected for food hygiene by Cotswold District Council.

Regulation and licensing for navigation of the Thames is carried out by the Environment Agency
